The Hall
Facilities for hire include a Main Hall and Kitchen
Down Hatherley Village Hall is set is pleasant rural surroundings while being close to Cheltenham and Gloucester. It offers a good sized space that can be configured in many ways. It can seat a maximum of 80 people. Chairs and tables are provided. The hall can accommodate a bouncy castle up to 3.5 metres high.
The decor helps create a light and cheerful atmosphere. If you want to change the mood in the evening then dimmable spotlights provide an alternative to the main Hall lights.
Double-glazed and centrally heated, the hall offers comfortable accommodation all year.
A major refurbishment in 2017 equipped the hall with a new wooden floor, a suspended ceiling and well appointed toilets.
The kitchen comes equipped with cooker, fridge, electric kettle and washing up facilities. It is suitable for commercial caterers, or for the self-catered party.
There is some crockery and cutlery available to hall users and you are invited to discuss your requirements when booking.
The kitchen has been awarded the highest hygiene rating by the local authority.
The Main Hall measures 6.15 metres by 18.5 metres (20ft by 60ft ).
The maximum height from the floor to the ceiling is 3.5 metres
Toilets
There are separate toilets for ladies, gents and the disabled.
There is parking for about 30 vehicles and the double doors at the east end of the building provides a convenient access point if you need to unload equipment. The main entrance to the Hall for users is via the porch at the front of the building.
Disabled Users
Double doors at the east end of the hall enables disabled users to enter the building easily. Immediately outside this entrance on the right there is a paved area which serves as a a drop off point for disabled users.
